How does the Card Report Module work
Klippa SpendControl's Credit Card module makes processing credit card transactions easier for card holders and Finance.
When the card holder uses a credit card to make a payment, they can upload a picture of the receipt directly into the mobile Klippa app. Most of the fields are now filled in automatically thanks to smart OCR technology.
When the credit card statement is available at the end of the month, the transactions will be imported in Klippa by a Finance user. A card report for the corresponding transactions is automatically generated per card holder.
Now the card holder has the responsibility to link a receipt to every transaction. If the purchase amount and purchase date match those of a receipt saved during the month, it will be linked automatically. Should this not be possible, receipts can also be linked manually by opening the transaction and linking one of the saved receipts to it, or uploading a receipt manually. Should no receipt be available, the card holder indicates this explicitly.
Only if all transactions have either a receipt, or the card holder indicates there is no receipt available, the report can be submitted by the card holder.
As a Finance user, you have a clear overview of all the uploaded transactions, and whether receipts have been linked already. The card holders receive notifications in their e-mail if they have pending transactions to submit.
