How to set user roles?

Klippa users can have different roles, that determine their permissions to perform certain actions in the application. In this article we explain how you can assign roles to users.
Note: this action is only possible for a user with admin rights.
Note: for the expense manager and finance role, "User is manager of" or "User handles finances for" appears. Do NOT use this field. These fields will be phased out and will no longer be available in the application after 2022. Use authorization flows instead. This article describes how to create one.
Note: Do NOT use the Expense SubManager role. This role is being phased out and will no longer be available in the application after 2022.
Make sure you are logged in to the Klippa Web App as a user with "admin" rights.
In the left menu, navigate to Settings and then Company. You are now in the company account settings.
Then click on Company Settings / Users and select the user you want to assign a role to.

Scroll down until you see the roles, here you can see which roles this user has and what rights are associated with them. Choose the roles you want to assign and then click Save.
