ICS, ING, HSBC, Amex credit card module: How can I link incomplete users to an existing Klippa user?
In this article we explain how to link an incomplete user to an existing Klippa user.
Note: this module can only be used in combination with ICS, ING, HSBC or American Express credit cards or the Klippa card. Please contact our sales department if you would like to know more about the possibilities.
When a new statement is uploaded, an incomplete user is created. This corresponds to the user's name on the credit card statement. To ensure that every Klippa user sees his/her own transactions, it is important to link the incomplete user to an existing Klippa user.
Ensure that you are logged into the Klippa Web App as a user with a Admin role.
Upload the credit card statement.
In the menu on the left, navigate to settings and then company. You are now in the company settings.
Click on Company settings > Users.
Go to Incomplete users.
In this overview you see the names of the users as they are recognised on the credit card statement.
Click on Make user complete to link the incomplete user to an existing Klippa user.
Click on Merge user with existing user.
Select the Klippa user whose name corresponds to the name recognised from the credit card statement.
Click on Save.
The transactions on the statement are now linked to the existing Klippa user. This means that the Klippa user now sees his/her card transactions under My Reports / Card.
Note: this is a one-time procedure per user. After the user is integrated, all future transactions will be automatically assigned to the user.
