# How to set user roles?

Klippa users can have different roles, that determine their permissions to perform certain actions in the application. In this article we explain how you can assign roles to users.

||| Note: this action is only possible for a user with admin rights.

1. Make sure you are logged in to the [Klippa Web App](https://app.klippa.com/) as a user with "admin" rights.

2. In the left menu, navigate to **Settings** and then **Company**. You are now in the company account settings.

3. Then click on Company Settings / **Users** and select the user you want to assign a role to.

4. Scroll down until you see the roles, here you can see which roles this user has and what rights are associated with them. Choose the roles you want to assign and then click **Save**.
