# How to add cost centers?

||| Note: this action is only possible for a user with admin rights.

||| Please note: if you have an integration with your accounting package, we will synchronize cost centers. You can create new cost centers in the accounting package, Klippa automatically synchronizes them. See article: [Synchronize cost centers](/en/article/how-to-sync-cost-units-cost-centers-and-projects-from-my-integrated-accounting-system-13jr0pg/)

1. Make sure you are logged in in the [Klippa Web App](https://app.klippa.com/) as a user with "admin" rights.

2. In the left menu, navigate to **Settings** and then **Company**. You are now in the company settings.

3. Then click on Company settings / **Administrations** and click the administration in which you want to add a cost center. Then click on **Cost centers**

4. At the top right you will find an option to manually add or import cost centers. Further instructions are displayed in the Klippa interface.
