# How to add categories?

In Klippa you can use categories to make a distinction in the expenses. In addition, you can link them directly to your general ledgers and VAT codes for easy administration! 

1. Make sure you are logged in to the [Klippa Web App](app.klippa.com) as a user with "admin" rights.

2. In the left menu, navigate to **Settings** and then **Company**. You are now in the company account settings.

3. Click on "Categories". You can either add categories manually or import in bulk. 

4. Further instructions are shown in the Klippa interface.
