# Before you start connecting Datev DUO integration

### Prerequisites

|||  Important: without these prerequisites it is not possible to connect Klippa with Datev Unternehmen Online (DUO). Please use the instructions below or consult your tax advisor to fix the below prerequisites.

1. Your user has administrator rights in DUO

2. [Rechnungsdatenservice 1.0 ](https://secure11.datev.de/web/de/datev-shop/betriebliches-rechnungswesen/rechnungsdatenservice-1-0/) must be enabled in your MyDatev client.

3. You must have the [Belege Online (Cloud-Lösung)](https://apps.datev.de/help-center/documents/1003726) solution in DUO.

4.  You must set your _Bearbeitungsform_ for _Lieferantenrechnungen_ on **Erweitert**. Please go to the [Bearbeitungsform ändern](https://apps.datev.de/help-center/documents/1071405) page
for an explanation how to change this setting.
